Artists Republica is an exciting new gallery space in Ho Chi Minh City dedicated to cross-cultural exchange in street art, new-wave contemporary art, and craft. It brings together the energy of Western street-art movements with the rich traditions of Vietnamese and wider Eastern political, craft and public art practices — creating a space that challenges conventional gallery culture and explores new ways for art to engage with public life in public space.

What happens here

Based in Tân Đông Hiệp, Artists Republica will host street-art tours, resident Vietnamese and international artists, an art salon including artist talks and workshops, alongside an evolving programme of exhibitions and collaborations.

A key part of the gallery’s vision is to initiate new collaborations on the walls of Ho Chi Minh City, bringing traditional Vietnamese arts into dialogue with international street art to create bold, unexpected and unique works.

The space itself

Surrounded by gardens, plants, sculpture and curious objects, Artists Republica is designed as a welcoming, vibrant and informal creative environment. Its opening nights will be lively social occasions, with a friendly atmosphere and a knowledgeable, professional team creating an inviting experience for artists, collectors and visitors alike.
